SAE SIGIL
SAE SIGIL is a line of self-sealing liquids that seals leaks from 5 to 2500 liters per day, inserting the liquid into the heating system diluted as described below, through a loading pump. The principle of the sealing liquid is a mechanical seal from the outside. SAE SIGIL works only in the presence of oxygen and is suitable for all materials in use (synthetic and metallic). The product can also be used on an open expansion tank system.
The L version is designed to compensate for the different expansions of different materials (e.g. metal fitting and plastic pipe)

Important note
Shake the canister well before use. SAE SIGIL cannot be mixed with glycol/antifreeze or other chemicals.
The self-sealant can remain on the system for max. 30 days.
Instructions for Use
Clean the heating systems with SAE IR as required by the UNI 8065 standard. Quantify the daily loss. Quantify the contents of the system. After adding the liquid, vent the pumps well! Remove or by-pass filters and all screens. Adjust the maximum temperature and pressure of the boiler. Fully open all radiator valves and mixing valves. Vent the recirculation pumps well and leave them running. Introduce the necessary quantity of sealing liquid using a loading pump. Vent the recirculation pumps again. Check the pH value at the highest or furthest point of the system using the strips found on the tank. The pH value must be between 10.5 and 11. The system must remain in operation for a minimum of 7 hours at maximum temperature. SAE SIGIL must be removed from the system after sealing. The product can remain in the system for max. 30 days.
For systems with wall-mounted boilers use up to SAE SIGIL 400 NOT higher!
SAE SIGIL F is an elastic self-sealing liquid for solar systems with daily losses of up to 15 litres. Unlike the normal SAE SIGIL, the system must be operated at maximum temperature and pressure for 4 hours. After 4 hours of operation, adjust the system to normal operation. Total sealing occurs after approx. 14 days. The product can be mixed with antifreeze or other chemicals intended for the solar sector.
Disposal
Dispose of in accordance with local regulations, consult the safety data sheet.
Security data
In case of contact with eyes, wash well with water and consult a doctor. In case of contact with skin, wash well with water. Remove immediately with water from items such as tiles, floors, sinks, etc.
Keep out of reach of children.
Mixture proportions
1-2% (1-2 liters of SAE SIGIL per 100 liters of water). The dosage is sufficient with a pH value between 10.5 and 11.
ONLY FOR SAE SIGIL F: 1% (1 liter of SAE SIGIL F on 100 liters of water).
CAUTION THE PRODUCT MUST NOT BE OVER OR UNDER DOSED.
Transport
The product does not present any danger for transport. The indications correspond to current experiences. Technical changes possible.
Expiration
5 years from the date of production.
