SAE SIGIL AP
SAE SIGIL AP is a line of self-sealing liquids that eliminates leaks of 10 to 20 liters per day. It is suitable for all materials in use, even plastic with a certificate of suitability for drinking water use. It is possible to seal corrosion points, cracks and defective brazing points in galvanized, copper, steel and synthetic material pipes.
SAE SIGIL AP is long-lasting and resistant to aging. It can be used in the food sector. SAE SIGIL AP10L is particularly suitable for hot water lines to compensate for the expansion of the material.

Important note
Shake the canister well before use. SAE SIGIL AP cannot be mixed with glycol/antifreeze or other chemicals. SAE SIGIL AP must be removed immediately after sealing. The recovered product can be reused several times.
Instructions for Use
The SAE SIGIL AP self-sealing liquid contains selected cellulose fibres, which deposit with a filtering effect on the leak, reducing its passage speed. This allows the chemical elements to crystallize externally and then harden definitively over time.
1 PRELIMINARY PHASE
Close and empty the defective duct. Collect the water and measure it to know the necessary quantity of product. Close the valves under the sink, remove the taps and close with a cap. Screens, filters and counters must be removed. Close the access hose to dishwashers and washing machines. Rinse the system well and in case of limescale deposits use the SAE SAN anti-scaling liquid.
2 OPERATIONAL PHASE
Pressurize the mesh to be sealed with SAE SIGIL AP at approximately 5 – 7 bar using a loading pump. SAE SIGIL AP must escape from the leak in order to crystallize outside the duct. SAE SIGIL AP needs a minimum action time of 24 hours in hot conditions in humid environments, or at room temperature it must be extended to 2 or 3 days. In the case of pipes with tight external coatings, which do not allow air penetration, a seal is not always possible (e.g. coated copper pipe and leakage on the coating bonding). SAE SIGIL AP must be removed immediately after sealing. Rinse the work tools thoroughly after sealing. The recovered product can be reused several times.
