In our homes we increasingly find the formation of encrustations on sinks, shower cubicles, mixers, boilers, etc…
The encrustations are mainly due to the precipitation of the salts constituting the hardness which are deposited on the walls in a more or less hard and coherent form. They cause a reduction in the effectiveness of the system, reduced heat exchange, blockage of pipes and are often responsible for triggering corrosive phenomena. They damage the proper functioning of washing machines and dishwashers and, by encrusting the coils, increase energy consumption. Depending on the hardness of the water, the damage from encrustation can be felt in a few months or a few years, but is inevitable when the water is not treated.
New technologies for energy saving, condensing boilers, radiant panel heating, solar systems etc. they are increasingly sensitive to the quality of the water, so much so that failure to treat it leads to early losses in yield, disappointing expectations; furthermore it could lead to the invalidation of the warranty of the equipment itself. These losses in performance not only reduce the life of the hydraulic system and the equipment connected to it, but also considerably increase ENERGY CONSUMPTION. The encrustation, in fact, isolates the heat source from the water and causes a waste of fuel which increases as the encrustation increases.
To overcome these problems, we recommend installing a water softener.
